International Trader

About the Role:

Swift & Company Trade Group (STG) is the independent meat trading businesses of the world’s largest protein producer; JBS S.A. STG is looking for an International Meat Trader in their office in Brisbane. Our activities are conducted in fifty plus countries, across a full range of proteins.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Developing accounts of suppliers and customers within a specified region.
• Managing market exposure and claims.
• Work as part of the trading team, gathering and sharing market information.
• Liaising with shipping staff to ensure smooth completion of orders, including payment and delivery.

About you:

• Minimum of five years international meat trading experience
• Experience with meat / pet food or seafood
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Multi-lingual language skills and meat experience highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, Agricultural Science or a similar discipline a decided advantage
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an as needed basis.
• Driven to succeed and meet targets.
• Strong people skills and ability to develop relationships easily with key customers and suppliers.

Accounts Payable Officer

About the Role

• AP accruals
• Matching, correcting documentation and entering supplier invoices
• Daily AP payments processing
• Supplier account reconciliations
• Filing of AP documents
• Assist other Admin team members when required
• AR back-up

About You

• Diploma level Business/Accounting course would be beneficial
• Energetic self-starter
• Organisation skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability work in a timely manner and meet deadlines
• Ability to start at 6:30am
